IMMIGRATION
All visitors to
the Sultanate must hold a valid passport without any endorsement
or restrictions.
Visas
GCC citizens do
not require visas. All other nationalities require either a
valid visa or an NOC, which can be obtained from a local Omani
sponsor.
All travellers,
except GCC nationals, entering by road from the UAE must hold
written clearance from the Department of Immigration.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
A valid
certificate for yellow fever is required if arriving from an
endemic area. Precautions against malaria are advised during the
rainy season from Nov-Mar. This is especially valid in the
Southern region of Oman.
