Oman has different weather conditions from region to region.
Generally temperatures are less tropical in the Northern areas
during winter. The country is very hot and humid in the summer
especially on the coastal plains where temperatures hit up to
44°C with average humidity of up to 85 per cent. Light monsoon
rains fall between June to Sept. Nov to Mar is a pleasant
period. Wide temperature variations occur in the mountainous
areas with occasional snow in the winter on high ground. Oman is
subject to cyclones at times, especially in the Southern region.
